Woodcox Building Contractor, Inc. is a family owned business located in South Bend, Indiana. Woodcox specializes in commercial construction and occupied renovation. With an emphasis on the details Woodcox has developed a well known name within the industry and a name that is trusted.
Hubert Woodcox started Woodcox Building Contractors, Inc in 1965. At the start, Hubert focused his efforts on bidding and building Kentucky Fried Chicken, Long John Silvers, and Zantigo Tacos restaurant locations from the ground up. After developing Woodcox with a solid reputation, he began branching into commercial renovations in downtown South Bend, IN with the help of his project manager Ken Little.
In 1979, Ken Little, Hubert's son-in-law and project manager at the time, purchased Woodcox Building Contractors, INC. After completing several commercial renovation projects including renovations to the Palais Royale, Ken widened the Woodcox portfolio and built everything from bank branches to dental clinics. Ken eventually transitioned the company into occupied medical office renovations and out of the ground clinical office projects.
On January 1, 2017, Adam George, purchased Woodcox Building Contractors, Inc. from his uncle, Ken Little. Adam has worked for the company since 1982, starting out as a general laborer then making the move to carpenter. After years in the field as a general foreman and managing several successful projects, he was promoted to Superintendent in 2005.
